USA credit rating AAA is now AA+ - S&P downgraded us ratings - market reaction

For the first time since 1917, AAA rating of US is downgraded into AA+

I already wrote in a thread that world economy is in critical position and stock markets will be in a time based correction ( i expect some 5 years of consolidation period ) , i think this credit rating downgrade of US will be the starting point for the downturn of world stock markets.

If i am clever i will sell my stocks now, whether it is largecap, middlecap or smallcap, whether i own it in US, Europe, India, Brazil, China etc.,

i would buy stocks at lower levels, because i feel most of the stocks would be available at cheapest rate for very long time ( 5 years consolidation ) and i expect some sharp upmove in world markets after the consolidation period is over. so, value investing will be available to all the investors. For that, investors should have some courage to enter stocks at lower levels.

Technical charts of world stock markets already gave sell signal, now this debt rating downgrade is a fundamental signal.
