Options are better than futures nifty options will bring you more profit with less risk compare to nifty futures

Options are better than futures, according my calculation trading in options are save as well as profitable.

If you want to buy 1 lot of nifty future, you should atleast have Rs 20,000 to Rs 28,000 according to the brokers are you dealing with.

for an average we take Rs 25,000 broker.

1 lot nifty future margin amount : Rs 25,000'
at the same time , if you have buy a in the money cal or put.

Say, market is in 5000, 4700 nifty call will be Rs 350, ( 50 premium, i am talking about trading in the first week of a month, when the expiry nearer, the premium will be low, or even you can get it in discount )
350 x 50 = Rs 17,500 if the market move 100 points 4700 call premium will also increase atleast by 90 points. So, with less amount margin compare to nifty future you can trade in nifty, moreover if the market crash down, your maximum risk is just Rs 17,500 but if the market crash like Jan 2008 ( 2000 points in 2 days ) you will loss RS 1 lakhs.

The same theory will be suitable in put option also.

So, think twice before trading in nifty future.
